Come along to this hands-on talk about all things hoof boots!  Your presenter, Kathryn, is a local guru when it comes to hoof boots and farriering.  She'll let us know what the difference is between hoof boots for riding and hoof boots for rehab are, show us a range of different hoof boot brands, show us how to check if they fit, and a bunch of other nifty boot tips & tricks you should know before you NEED to know.


ABOUT YOUR PRESENTER

Kathryn Christieson is a professional farrier and is based in Victoria and services the Gippsland, Cardinia and Mornington Peninsula region.  She has been operating her business Firenza Park Equine Services for the last 5 years.

  • Topic 3:  Other types of hoof protection

 IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • This is a FREE event, however you still need to book a ticket to reserve your seat (and your ticket provides us with your COVID tracing details).
  • This event is held at Jindarra Park.  Please enter via "GATE 1 Jindarra Park" and drive slowly to the parking area prior to the Arena.  Then walk up to the stables where the session will be held.  If you need accessible parking, please drive up to the stables and park in front of the big green shed.
  • So that we can start on time, please arrive 10min prior to the session and grab a cuppa while you wait.
  • This session is capped at 10 attendees and we often have a wait-list.  If you can no longer attend, please let us know so that we can invite the someone else to attend.
  • Please note that Jindarra Park and our learning center has accessible access, however there are steps to our bathroom, we apologise for this inconvenience.
  • If COVID restrictions occur, we will run this session online via ZOOM.  We will advise attendees if this is to occur and will email out a link to prior to the event.
